The session kicked off by Andrew Turner, GM and Chair Advisory Board of Praxi with an engaging Kahoot quiz, where attendees tested their knowledge on a range of data-related topics, with a Valentines theme too.
Questions covered everything from the primary purpose of data curation to the ethical considerations around AI systems handling sensitive information.
The lively competition saw participants from the UK, North America, and Europe vying for the top spots on the leaderboard.
Following the quiz, the panel discussion delved into the key themes of the event. Moderated by Andrew Turner, the panel featured insights from:

Morgane kicked off the discussion by highlighting the transformative potential of generative AI, such as ChatGPT, in 2023 and beyond.
However, she emphasised that organisations must first focus on building strong data foundations through curation and governance.
"Even the most powerful AI tool won't succeed if it's fed poor quality data," Morgane warned.
Angus Gow drew parallels between the current state of AI innovation and the early days of the internet, describing the rapid pace of technological advancements as a "hype cycle.”
While he believes AI will disrupt industries like marketing and accounting, Angus stressed the importance of diverse perspectives in AI development to ensure responsible and ethical implementation.
Andrew Ahn explained Praxi's mission to help organisations leverage data as a strategic asset.
He highlighted data curation as the crucial first step, providing the foundation for successful AI and analytics initiatives.
"Data curation is the foundation for most data-driven efforts," Ahn said. "Without it, you're building on shaky ground.”
Andrew Ahn then took the audience through an initial peak at Praxi CaaS, explaining the origins and hypothesis of why Praxi was founded and why even more today ine of AI, getting your data organised and in a good state leveraging Automation and Patented technology that can discover, profile, match and act on data is increasingly an imperative for companies who want to drive their businesses more effectively and precisely using accurate data.
Finally, before the event was wrapped up, the panel discussed a number of Questions that were posed by the audience including how does Praxi handle security given the sensitivity of data and the need for taking care of this critical dimension in any data related platform.
In terms of next steps, the panel encouraged the audience to:
Prioritise data curation and governance as a critical enabler for AI and digital transformation. As Morgane emphasised, "There is a preliminary work to do before going to use the AI tool."
Approach AI adoption with a balanced mindset, embracing the technology's potential while remaining vigilant about ethical considerations. Angus noted the need for "the right balance between not blocking the technology and definitely living with it and using it as an enabler."
Seek out partners and services, like Praxi CaaS, that can help streamline data curation and unlock the full value of their data. Andrew Ahn explained how Praxi's offering can help organisations "love their data" and position themselves for success in the AI-driven future.
